The Heart of Northumberland is situated just off the Market Place on the lovely Market Street in the centre of Hexham which is lined with great independent businesses and shops.
We are surrounded by the gems of Hexham including the historic Hexham Abbey, the picturesque Sele park and grounds, Hexham’s local bowling green as well as having the Tyne Green river park & golf course just down the road.
Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the bus station which both link from Newcastle to Carlisle and throughout the Tyne Valley for those visiting Hexham on public transport.
Hexham is a free parking town so you can park in available bays in the streets or the car parks. All you need is a timer disc which can be purchased for £1 all over town from most shops, council or tourist information offices and there are a few dispenser machines you can buy them from (one is just down from us away from the Market Place on the same side of the road).
